Escape the everyday and retreat yourself to the fabulous Riverside Cabins. Nestled away in a tranquil private woodland on the bank of the picturesque River Perry. This small collection of cabins was recognised in the Guardian’s top 30 cottages and should definitely be a place you visit! Situated just outside of the large market town of Shrewsbury, the Riverside Cabins are in a great location to explore the beautiful county of Shropshire.
This collection of individually styled cabins sleep up to 4 guests. Making them a perfect place for romantic getaways or finally having that long overdue catch up with friends. Nearly all of the cabins are pet friendly. Lovingly named after their Labradors, previous and past, this really is a wonderful doggy haven. Many of the cabins also feature the luxury of a hot tub! Arrive to find all the essentials taken care over by pre ordering a lovely welcome hamper, containing locally sourced produce from Moor Farm Shop.
All of the cabins are uniquely designed. The boutique style Riverside Cabins offer a cosy living area and a variety of bed combinations depending on the number of guests. A galley style kitchen/dining area provides all the essentials required to cook up some simple meals. Complimentary tea and Nespresso pods mean that as soon as you arrive you can pop the kettle on and unwind! The Riverside Cabins also have a wet room with a multi functional shower and a separate WC. Soft linen and fluffy towels are provided. So now the hardest decision you will have to make is choosing which cabin!
The Riverside Cabins are set in 10 acres of private woodland. So there is plenty to see and do right on the doorstep. Each cabin has its own private balcony, just perfect for sitting out to read your favourite book or enjoy the sounds of the River Perry. And if you choose a cabin with a hot tub, you can enjoy some stargazing and bubbles into the night.
The Cabins are set in a great location for exploring the County of Shropshire. If you wish to plan a couple of days out, Acton Scott Historic Working Farm or the world’s first Iron bridge aren’t too far away. Shrewsbury’s Tudor town centre is definitely worth a peruse, the market town has lots of lovely independent shops and more importantly a fabulous cocktail bar!
For the adventurers, Shropshire’s Great Outdoors provide loads of interesting walking routes near to Riverside Cabins. Some of our favourites include Abbots Wood walk and the Lawley to Caer Caddoc Loop. A scenic trail in the wonderful Shropshire Hills AONB. Shropshire is also a great place for mountain biking or perhaps trying a spot of canoeing with Canoe UK.
There are also plenty of eateries nearby to keep you well fed! Located just a few minutes from Riverside Cabins you have the New Inn at Baschurch, a traditional village pubs with a great selection of wines and ales. Fifteen minutes away you have The Dickin Arms, a very popular pub and restaurant that serves up some delicious dishes including tapas. In Shrewsbury town center, there is a delicious small italian restaurant hidden away in the old Vestry, definitely worth sampling!
