Pond View Lodges are a nature lover’s delight. Two lodges, Oak Lodge and Ash Lodge, sit in a prime location to take advantage of the glorious countryside views. This is seriously luxurious glamping. Each lodge even has Wi-Fi and a TV, so you don’t even need to completely turn off from the outside world. Unless you want to, of course. And it’s dog friendly, so no need for your furry friends to miss out on the fun. There’s even a designated secure area where they can go off-lead safely. Location wise, Pond View Lodges are situated around one mile away from the historic market town of Llandelio in West Wales. Truly the best of both worlds, remotely rural, and yet amenities aren’t too far away. 

Inside

Both lodges are individually designed to ensure the most luxurious glamping getaway possible. A minimalistic interior inspired by the hues of nature draws the eye to the stunning exterior views. Highlighted with expansive glass, the sunlight floods each lodge, pulling the outside in. Oak Lodge is ideal for couples. Wonderfully cosy, you can snuggle together on the comfy double bed. A kitchenette allows the freedom to prepare simple meals and snacks, and the ensuite bathroom is the ultimate glamping luxury! Meanwhile, Ash Lodge is a little larger. With a king size bed to sprawl in. Along with a sofa bed for an additional guest, or two small children. It has a fully fitted kitchen in an open plan living/dining space. As well as an ensuite bathroom.

Outside

Step out onto your very own terrace. Perfectly placed to seat yourself with a beverage of choice and admire the gorgeous views. Rustle up a feast on the BBQ and dine beneath beautiful open skies. Head off the chill of the evening as you bask in the glow of the firepit. Also ideal for a yummy snack of s’mores! For those staying in Ash Lodge, enjoy an invigorating outdoor shower. While both lodges have their own hot tub. A dip, day or night is an absolute must. Soak those troubles away, all the while checking out the view. Either incredible countryside by day, or twinkly dark skies by night. Clink glasses and relax.

Whether you’re looking to explore the great outdoors or visit a few local attractions. You’ll be spoilt for choice at Pond View Lodges! Just ten minutes away, you’ll find the beautiful National Trust managed Dinefwr Park. Featuring Newton House, a seventeenth century manor house, alongside a deer park and 800 acres of parkland. If you’re looking for more history, around 10 minutes away is Dinefwr Castle. A twelfth century fortress with an imposing position overlooking the Tywi Valley. Historically important for Wales and its culture, it is well worth a trip. For those who have seen the BBC’s ‘A Garden Lost in Time’, a visit to Aberglasney Gardens is a must! And for something a little more unique? Visit the UK’s only known Roman Gold Mine at Dolacothi.
