Located within the grounds of Bryn Tanat Hall, the Parkland Lodges are two lodges; Kowloon Park and Pinelands Lodge. Situated close to the Welsh/Shropshire border and surrounded by rural beauty, they are a real find. Perfectly designed for families, or groups of friends, each lodge sleeps up to eight guests. With four beautiful super king/twin rooms apiece, they offer immaculately styled, five star accommodation. And it’s not just the lodges that are impressive. The wider site itself offers amazing facilities. A gym, spa and tennis court. Plus, the ability to book on to or join in with various workshops and activities. Take an art workshop or learn the art of cocktail making. The kids can learn all about creepy crawlies, or perhaps get involved in den building. And for the more competitive, try laser clay shooting, or enjoy a spot of forest laser tag. There is even a private chef available to hire should you be celebrating a special occasion. Or if you’re just looking for a night away from the oven!

Inside

Parkland Lodges are a cool, contemporary space, delivering style in spades. The open plan living space is the social hub of the lodge. Chill out in the living area in front of a roaring wood burner. Or flick on the 50” Smart TV and catch up with the latest screen trends on Netflix. Dine at the large oval dining table. With the sleek kitchen housing everything you need to create a feast for the whole party. And the dishwasher means you’re not left with the dirty dishes. And crucially, for the perfect drink, the American style fridge has an ice maker. The four bedrooms are all either a super-king or twin, depending on your requirements. Each enjoys glorious views via the patio doors at the foot of each bed. As well as having their own ensuite shower rooms, with one room having an ensuite bathroom, ideal for those with young children.

Outside

You have oodles of space to run the kids ragged at Parkland Lodges. All while the adults take advantage of the private patio area with a beverage of choice. On sunnier days, make use of the outdoor dining furniture and dine al fresco. And relax on the lounge chairs while enjoying a good catch up, or a great read. The wider site of Bryn Tanat offers brilliant facilities; a gym, spa and a tennis court for starters. While keen anglers will be thrilled with a morning spent fishing along the River Tanat. And come rain or shine, night or day, you’ll be looking forward to slipping into your private hot tub.

Nearby

Parkland Lodges are the ideal location for a quiet break with plenty of time to be together. The grounds and activities on offer may just be what you’re looking for. However, if you like to get out and about, there are plenty of days out and activities both nearby and a little further afield. Ranging between twenty five and thirty five minutes away are three National Trust sites. Erdigg Hall, Powis Castle and Attingham Park. There are also English Heritage sites nearby, including the Iron Age hillfort at Old Oswestry (ten minutes). And Wroxeter Roman City (thirty five minutes). Both sporting and Hollywood fans will be keen to head to Wrexham AFC for the football……and the chance to spot Ryan Reynolds. And being in the countryside there are plenty of places to cycle and walk, sample the Offa’s Dyke Path or Glyndwr’s Way. And beach lovers may be tempted to go a little further afield, with Barmouth Beach being a particular favourite. The stunning coastline, golden sandy beach and the old town are all around a one hour and twenty minute drive away.
