Inside

Each gorgeous roundhouse has been lovingly curated with an individual stylistic flourish. Inspired by nature, they are a true reflection of the beautiful surroundings. Everything has been hand selected to ensure luxury and guest comfort. From the sumptuous fabrics right through to the underfloor heating, keeping you toasty if the British weather lets you down. Or why not strike up a fire in the wood burner and cuddle up in front of the flickering flames.

The roundhouses sleeping 2 are situated in their own private gardens to ensure a romantic and relaxing escape for couples or those travelling alone. Cynefin features beautiful valley views, a luxury roll top bath and double shower. Whilst The Secret Roundhouse has a quirky covered yet outdoor supper kitchen. A wonderfully unique feature and perfect for a romantic evening around the campfire!

The larger roundhouses nestle together in a small paddock and feature a second bedroom furnished with adult sized bunk beds for additional big or little guests! An internal fully fitted kitchen makes it easy to rustle up some tasty treats and all the roundhouses enjoy stylish en-suite facilities. Whichever roundhouse you choose, you’re sure to fall in love with their rustic, yet luxurious vibe.

Outside

Families are sure to love the expanse of green space welcoming them. Dangle from the climbing frame, and let the kids enjoy running wild and free, scooters and bikes all welcome! Mingle with the farm animals and enjoy the East Thorne Experience to the max. Because East Thorne isn’t just a place to stay. Make the most of the wider facilities on site. Try your hand at cooking in the outdoor pizza oven and meet new friends around the communal campfire. For those in search of rejuvenation, book in for a massage in the treatment room. And at the end of a long day, take a dip in your own private hot tub.

Foodies will love the on site street food vans that visit regularly and the organic coffee and pastries from The Hive, their very own converted horse box. Situated just five miles from Bude, East Thorne Roundhouses are in close reach of the coast. Sandymouth, Summerleaze, Crooklets and Widemouth are all fantastic beaches, each offering something a little different. And for when you’ve had your fill of sandy toes, Cornwall and Devon have plenty to offer! The world-famous Clovelly, with its steep cobbled streets and traditional Devonshire vibe is a must visit. And if you’re a fan of Arthurian Legend, make sure you plan a visit to Boscastle and Tintagel in particular.

The Eden Project is worth the trip – you’ll be amazed whether or not you have green fingers! And for families, The Milky Way Adventure Park and the wonderfully quirky The Hidden Valley are highly recommended. And of course, there are outdoor activities aplenty!
