There are four properties available to choose from at Bogee Farm. Set on a 110 acre working farm, they’re perfectly placed for those seeking tranquillity in the Cornish countryside. Yet they’re only minutes from an array of Cornwall’s finest attractions and most breathtaking beaches. Cornwall being the top pick in UK seaside breaks for families. All four properties are rich with period features and rustic charm along with quirky modern decor and high quality kit. They sleep between 2 and 8 people, so the four cottages at Bogee Farm make a great choice for couples, families or groups looking for a Cornish getaway away from the hustle and bustle.
Civilised living is on the menu here at Bogee Farm. Each has a fully equipped kitchen plus a washing machine (and tumble dryer in the larger three cottages). So be it sandy or soggy, it won’t be hanging around cluttering up your space. The interiors have rustic touches and modern twists. Spacious while cosy and inviting at the same time. You have fast WiFi and TV, or choose the flickering of the log burner and a good book or family game.
Toast your sandy toes or gooey marshmallows around the fire pit. Play games barefoot on your lawn, or sit under a tree with a good book. Quiet and secluded, Bogee Farm is a haven to retreat to after a busy day exploring. Each property has a garden, parking and EV charging, so you can roam all over Cornwall and recharge back at your cottage. The working farm has resident sheep, cows and two goats called Sunny and Billy who like to bleat hello to visiting children.
If you’ve come to explore Cornwall, the location couldn’t be better. Zip down the A30 into the heart of this exceptional county and Bogee Farm is only a couple of minutes further into the leafy countryside. What an easy UK seaside break for families! The famous eateries of Padstow are twelve minutes away by car – an easy taxi ride home after an indulgent evening at Rick Stein’s St. Petroc’s Bistro Seafood Restaurant, Paul Ainsworth at No. 6 or Prawn On The Lawn. From here you can also hire bikes and trailers and take to the Camel Trail cycleway along the banks of the estuary to Wadebridge. Or take the passenger ferry across the estuary to Rock and its sand dunes. The nearby coastline is scattered with gorgeous coves and sandy beaches, hot surf spots and academies such as King Surf at Mawgan Porth and Harlyn Surf School. Bogee Farm is only half an hour from the famous Eden Project. And you’re spoilt for choice of beauty spots and beaches such as Bedruthan Steps, Treyarnon Bay and Constantine Bay.
