The Nest and The Hide is managed by Paul.
Minimum stay for this property is 2 nights.
Hugging the treeline in the South Somerset countryside are two idyllic Roundhouses at Hinton Hideaways.
Described as the lovechild of a yurt and a luxury treehouse, these beautiful properties are the perfect location in which to escape the everyday. Aptly named The Nest and The Hide, they are wonderfully in keeping with the nature-centric site. Based on an organic farm where, as you would expect, everything natural is celebrated. Exclusively for adults, couples will adore the feeling of truly getting away from it all. All whilst being in such an easily accessible location. Hidden away and yet central too, they are located in the best of both worlds. The area offers a wealth of activities and things to do too. You’ll be spoiled for choice! They’re even within walking distance of an award-winning Gastro pub. Incredibly romantic, not to mention relaxing, these Roundhouses offer a luxury break in a beautiful and unspoiled location.
Neutral walls expand the feeling of space in these perfectly formed Roundhouses. Whilst the nature inspired textures, materials and colours add characterful accents. The open plan living space is studio style, with the focal point being the central double bed. So comfy you may not want to get out of it! A cosy sofa for two, dining table and a well-equipped kitchen ensure a homely experience. You can even chill out on the sofa in front of the TV, which comes with a DVD player. Break out those box sets! One of the highlights however are the extremely stylish, plush bathrooms. Walk in rainfall showers and a bath in each – the ultimate refreshment after a day out.
The south facing vantage point allows for the very best the British weather has to offer. Situated near one another, The Hide is set within its own private garden. Whilst The Nest features a wrap-around lawn and is situated within the most private area of the site. Regardless of position, each of the Roundhouses get to enjoy those stunning, uninterrupted countryside views. From your private deck, enjoy a morning coffee as you look out onto grazing deer and the woodland wildlife wandering free. And come the evening, settle into your outdoor bubble bath with its unrivalled view. Warm up in front of the fire pit, and make sure you remember your marshmallows! There’s nothing better than toasted ‘mallows beneath the stars while snuggled into your loved one.
For keen walkers, The South West Coast Path National Trail is a must. The longest waymarked footpath in the country at 630miles, even a portion is a real treat. Imagine those inspiring views from high cliffs as the waves crash below. Continuing the seaside theme, Lyme Regis is a pretty seaside town just 30 minutes away. While Weymouth, its Victorian promenade and traditional seaside experience is one hour away. Also 30 minutes away is Bridport, a market town ripe for exploration. Featuring a thriving creative community, the Saturday market in particular is well worth a visit. Just 5 minutes on from Bridport is West Bay. Known as the gateway to the Jurassic Coast and its 185 million years of history. And continuing the historic theme, just 10 minutes away is Forde Abbey. With history dating back to the 1100s, the house and gardens are simply beautiful.
