Next Door is a spacious two bedroom and two bathroom luxury barn conversion. Renovated to an exceptionally high standard with everything provided for you. From luxury linens to organic toiletries. For added indulgence a simple breakfast hamper and tea time treat will be waiting for you upon your arrival.

Internally Next Door features an opulent open plan living, kitchen and dining space. Featuring underfloor heating, plush velvet sofas, divine soft furnishings and a cosy log burner.  You can wake up every morning to the sound of bird song, enabled by the feature patio doors in both bedrooms. Opening onto a private walled courtyard, it’s the perfect spot for a morning cup of tea in your pyjamas!

Outdoors

From both the living space and bedrooms you can access the completely private walled courtyard. Provided with comfy sofas and chairs, this peaceful outdoor space is divine for al fresco socialising. And with it being completely enclosed you won’t need to worry about being disturbed nor your four legged friend running wild!

Beyond the courtyard, guests have access to 1.5 acres of mature gardens. Soothe your senses and breathe in the fresh air and nature sounds with a relaxing wander around the beautiful grounds. Toast marshmallows around the fire pit and let the children burn off their energy on the play area, or have fun building a den. And make sure you spare an apple to feed the ‘Barbaras’, their on-site hens.

Nearby

You could easily spend all day playing outside with the rope swings, climbing frame, trampoline and secret paths. Then perhaps stop for a picnic under the willow tree. But if you did crave an adventure, there are a plethora of places ripe to explore.

The historical city of York is only 8 miles away and you don’t even need a car to get there. You can take the village bus, a cycle or use the park and ride for easy travel. With top attractions such as York Dungeons, The National Railway Museum, river boat cruises or maybe a walk around the city walls, there is plenty for a great day out.

Other nearby family attractions include Castle Howard, York Maze, Northwood Fairy Trail and so much more. This area does not disappoint for things to see and do!

For foodie lovers head to Malton, the food capital of Yorkshire! It hosts regular festivals and markets, and houses an abundance of independent food producers.

For something a little less man made, the beaches of Bridlington and Fraisethorpe are under an hour’s drive. Or venture into the Yorkshire Dales or The Moors for some rambling and breath taking scenery.
