Situated amid a Scottish paradise, Mid Auchengowan Cottage nestles on a hilltop farm above Castle Semple. The bespoke answer to the host’s wish to provide a tranquil, luxurious and charming Scottish holiday. Comfortably accommodating six guests as well as canine companions.
Inside
Welcoming warmth emanates from every quirky nook, with loving touches scattered throughout. The whole family will be charmed by this beautiful property. The Cottage is set out in an upside-down manner so you can make the most of the wonderful countryside views. On the ground floor, there are two heavenly bedrooms to pick from. An en-suite master bedroom with a king-size bed and a family room with a king-size bed and two singles. There is also a second bathroom on the ground floor.
The first floor really steals the show. For those in need of some quiet time, make yourself a Srùbag and immerse yourself in a good book in the cosy reading corner. Walk through this peaceful den into the stunning open plan kitchen, dining and living room area. Bursting with pops of bright colour, premium furnishings and mod-cons including a Nespresso coffee machine. Wander to the end of this room, open up the balcony doors and look out onto the rolling Scottish countryside. Simply bliss.

Whether you’re an early bird or a night owl, appreciate that early morning sunrise with your first cup of coffee or that spectacular sunset from your private cottage garden. During long balmy summer evenings fill the air with mouth watering smells from the BBQ. Then, enjoy some quality family time together, whether that be making plans for the next day or playing games on the lawn.

Mid Auchengowan Cottage is situated on the South West of Scotland, less than an hour away from the stunning Loch Lomond, Trossachs National Park and Glasgow. We can’t promise you will arrive at Hogwarts though! Lochwinnoch Nature Reserve, the bustling city of Glasgow, a visit to Kelburn Castle and a day enjoying water sports on Castle Semple Loch should keep you all occupied for a while. If a day by the sea beckons, take a short drive to the golden sandy Troon Beach.
